Don't get me started

Now that I have admitted my crush on Mystery Date, I thought I'd share some of my other infatuations with you.

First, and foremost, #1 above anyone else: Craig Ferguson

Tall, dark, funny AND a Scottish accent? Oh my. Oh my.

And while we are on the tall, dark and handsome track, let's stop and say hi to Idris Elba:

Someone has photoshopped him so badly that his teeth are glowing, but I'm sure he doesn't have that problem in real life.

The only one of my crushes that I have ever actually spent time with - and who charmed my socks off - chef/author/bon vivant Anthony Bourdain:

He smokes, though. I have to mark him down some points for that.

Come to think of it, almost all of my crushes are tall, dark and handsome:

Have I ever mentioned that I find extremely skinny guys attractive? Well. Adrien Brody, mmm.

I don't know if Bono would be totally great or a total tool. But I'd be willing to take some time and find out.

Another musician from another part of the world, A.R. Rahman. His talent is astounding, and his full lips are gorgeous

How much do I like Antonio Banderas? I named my cat after him. My cat was also very good-looking

I know Cesar Millan would love Goldie. And that means almost as much as his sweet face:

Chef Eric Ripert. Suzanne has eaten at Le Bernardin. She can tell you about this man's food. And have you heard his accent?

Clive Owen. Who DOESN'T have a crush on him?

Normally I don't forgive dreadlocks or tattoos, but Michael Franti has such a sweet personality that I'd make an exception:

Pro surfer Kelly Slater doesn't have much hair, but somehow it works out ok

When Jason Bateman was 18 and I was 26, I felt like an old lady crushing on him as he played Valerie Harper's son on TV. But somehow as the years have gone by, we have gotten closer in age. And the years have been kind to him:

Ok, that's entirely enough. Who are your crushes?

Mmmmm Anthony Bourdain. Eric Ripert. Yummy. I'll add Nathan Fillion to the list, too.

You have already covered many of my crushes here. Delightful!

Also Joshua Jackson (Dawson's Creek, Fringe, Diane Kruger's left arm). James Marsters (Buffy, Torchwood, Caprica). Nathan Fillion (Castle, Firefly, Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog). Paul Gross (Due South, Slings & Arrows, Eastwick).

So many crushes.

Yours are good ones. I agree, who doesn't have a crush on Clive Owen. My perennial favorites are Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Justin Timberlake, Adam Levine (from Maroon 5), Eric Dane, and Karl Urban. I haven't added any newbies lately. Except maybe that youngster at work.

Timothy Robbins (and I hear he's available now)

I am totally on board with Craig Ferguson. I was irrationally jealous when he got married. Also love Anthony Bourdain, Eric Ripert and Jason Bateman.

But I am so mainstream and ass over tea kettle in my love for George Clooney, it is really sad. No one else even comes close.

Antonio, Kelly and Bateman. YES!
Clive Owen.....MINE!!!

Thanks for the lemon curb recipe btw. I'm going to have to try it.

How did I forget George Clooney? My bad!

Diana, I was also irrationally jealous when he got married. I still get kind of ticked when he talks about his wife. Ridiculous, I know, but I can't help it.

How about Ewan McGregor!! He broke my heart in Moulin Rouge, and I loved his around the world motorcycle documentaries Long Way Down and Long Way Around. Plus, have you seen him in a kilt? Sigh.

Oh I can't forget to mention all the gorgeous men from the new Star Trek movie, especially Chris Pine!

I'm fully with you on Bourdain. I love a tall skinny man.

I too, have eaten at Le Bernardin. It was to die for.

I still love Johnny Depp. My newest crush is Dominic West.

Mmm, Anthony. And didn't he quit smoking when his daughter was born...or is back at it?

Showing my age, but Errol Flynn has to be the best!!
Neil Diamond comes in a close second.

Bourdain doesn't smoke anymore but back off, he's mine.

But after that Yo Gabba Gabba thing, I might share. I was not a fan of that.

Can't believe you left Mr Smoooooth off this list, George Clooney! Jackson Browne would another one for me, also Daniel Craig, and Andy Garcia. Cold shower now.

I refuse to apologize for my or anyone's crush on George Clooney. He is perfect. 'Nuff said. Here are the rest of mine; all have been discussed ad nauseum over at the Dept.--
1. Daniel Day Lewis
2. Johnny Depp
3. Rob Lowe
4. Orlando Bloom (don't judge)
5. Hugh Laurie

I add others in and take some out as they capture my fancy, but George and these 5 are static. Daniel frustrates me mightily because of his continued forays into Bad Fashion, but I am a forgiving sort.

- Daniel Craig
- Matt Damon
- Clive Owen - I love him not only because he is handsome and talented and "Children of Men" was one of the greatest movies I've ever seen, but also because his wife is not a size zero or plasticly enhanced (i.e. - she looks like a regular person) and he's totally dedicated to her.
- Ewan McGregor
- George Clooney, although I hate that he always dates women so much younger than he is, he's still dreamy
- Jeremy Sisto (on Law & Order)
- George Eads (Nick on CSI)
I loved Le Bernadin, but Husband went there another time and had a horrific experience.

My crushes historically have been so embarrassing that I need to do a post on them one of these days. Here's a preview: Peter DeLuise. I don't get it either.
