I am off to see your photos... that is how I have been spending my evening... a drink in one hand and the other clicking 'round the Flickr-sphere!
Hi, I clicked over here from a link from Mir's blog. The talk about the stapler intrigues me. My daughter is two and dropped a lamp on her head last Wednesday. It cut a small gash open in her head that required one lone staple to shut it. I was in the ER expecting the doctor to sew the cut up with a needle and thread, but no, he numbed the area, pinched the two pieces of skin together, and stapled it shut with one staple. Now she's got a staple on the back of her head, that reflects light every time I try to take a picture of it. We've been calling her Swingline, more because she's such an accident prone little monkey.. I'm gonna check those photos after I post this comment.
It was nice to meet you SueBob! (We sat at the same table with Mir at the lunch session on Friday.) I just have to get caught up with real life now too. ;)
SueBob, I'm so glad I got to meet you and spend as much time talking as we were able to do. You are really just like your internet persona so I felt like I already knew you. Take care!
Hmmm. I was referred here by another blog (woulda, coulda, shoulda) in anticipation of witty stapler photos from Blogher. But, the link just takes me to the Flickr home page. Have I just not had enough coffee yet to kick start my hand-eye-keyboard skills?
I agree with Leslie. I'm too lazy to look through over 4000 BlogHer photos. Just give me the gist of it. :)
I couldn't find them
It was great to meet you at BlogHer, although my red stapler photo seems to have vanished into the ether. ;)
From SueBob via the Queen:Go to Flickr and search for "RED STAPLER"I'm in there somewhere too. Tell me my boobs look good.
It was so much fun there wasn't it?
Your stapler pictures are so cool--such a great idea. As were your buttons. When you sat down next to me during the welcome session, I had been watching you taking photos of people with your stapler, and I felt so flattered when you asked to take one of me with it. It was fun to share our reaction to the "Janes"!
It was so lovely to meet you this weekend. I look forward to the pictures and post!
I'm glad I got to meet you at least for a brief moment! Though I wish I could have seen this magical red stapler you speak of. Ah, well, maybe next year.
Your red stapler made my weekend, Suebob. (My favorite so far is the pic of Karen Walrond. Bwahahahaha.)I'm so glad we had a chance to get to know each other a bit. And that I was stapler-worthy.
it was so great to meet you, too! next time i hope i have lots more free time to sit around and gab with you.xo
oh, suebob. i looked so hard for your red stapler stickered computer this weekend, but found you not. (sniffle, waaah). and i so badly wanted to be photographed kissing your red stapler, but alas, it was not to be. maybe next year!
you look like you had a lot of fun. I think we should make a cali girls only blogher and go to Napa or something.
I have checked out of the blogosphere for about two weeks due to camping trips and such, when I come back, I read fussy.org, and LO AND BEHOLD I see a woman with a red stapler and awesome hair. I begin shrieking "That's Suebob from red stapler!"At which point I realize I'm alone in the living room and nobody's listening. But then of course I just keep shrieking.Just to let you know, I think I might officially be your groupie now.
Also, that last comment Ieft sounded like I thought it was YOU in the photo, when what I meant was that I assumed you had TAKEN the photo... due to red stapler (and caption) Oh God it's too late and I'm up still. Rest assured, I did not think the purple haired lady was you. (Even though I liked said purpled haired lady.) Needless to say, I'm still your groupie. I'd recognize that stapler anywhere. ;)Seriously. Is any of this making sense anymore. GO TO SLEEP, ANNIE.
